The Surface MiniMag® locks are designed with a 1-7/8" width to keep undersized openings within code. These locks are ideal solutions for traffic control on narrow-style interior or perimeter doors. The RCI 8372 Surface MiniMag® is used for double outswinging doors without mullions. These electromagnetic locks install perfectly alongside most automatic door operators or stop-mounted door hardware. SCS - Security Condition Sensor Electronic field presence sensor for remote and local LED indication of lock status (locked or unlocked), reduced holding force caused by materials between magnet and plate and unlocked device due to voltage drop.
DSS - Door Status Sensor Magnet-reed type sensor for remote indication of door status (opened or closed) independent of local power. Magnet embedded in armature for tamper resistance; reed switch inside electronic housing cavity for easy access.
